Our farm, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Latvia, is committed to sustainable and eco-friendly farming practices. Our passion lies in nurturing the Dorper breed of sheep, originally developed in South Africa. Despite the contrasting climatic conditions, the adaptable Dorper breed thrives in various global locales, including the diverse environments found throughout Europe, where it remains one of the less common breeds.

The Dorper sheep are celebrated for their exceptional traits such as non-seasonal breeding, naturally shedding short wool that eliminates the need for shearing, and the production of fast-growing lambs. These lambs are particularly noted for their muscular loins – the hindquarter section – which is indicative of a high meat yield. Our eco farm embraces these qualities, promoting a harmonious balance between nature and agriculture in the serene Latvian countryside.
